William Thomas Henderson, II, was born and raised in Four Oaks, North Carolina. "Dr. Bill", as he came to be known, attended Atlantic Christian College, now Barton College, in Wilson, NC. Bill was accepted early into the Doctor of Optometry program at Southern College of Optometry after just 3 years of undergrad. Upon completing his education, Dr. Bill left Memphis, TN for Dallas, TX.

Once in Dallas, Bill jumped into big city life and enjoyed all Dallas had to offer. He played in the Dallas Independent Volleyball Association for many years and volunteered At Legacy Counseling Center. Dr. Bill worked in many different optometric practices around Dallas. He has now found great pleasure and personal satisfaction in opening Uptown Vision. No more chain offices.

From participating in the design of the space, to providing proper medical care and the perfect frame for his patients, Dr. Bill is now able to utilize all aspects of his talents. Dr. Henderson focuses on therapeuthic optometry, though he is also certified as a glaucoma specialist. His dedication to service has garned him recognition among his peers by the community, being selected as "Best Optometrist" by the Dallas Voice for several years.
Bill shares his life with his husband, Dr Nick Bellos, a local infectious disease physician. They have two children, a daughter Aryn and a son Bryce; both are in college.

Dr. Ellen Chait is a Dallas native, with over 28 years of experience providing her patients with unrivaled care, quality eyewear, and specialty contact lenses.

Dr. Chait graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and then completed her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1984. She is a board certified member of the American Board of Optometry.
When not working, Dr. Chait enjoys reading, cooking, and listening to music.

Dr. Roshie came to the United States at the age of 12, having been born in Ahwaz, Iran, and raised in England. The oldest of three, she and her family now call Dallas-Ft. Worth home. After moving to Dallas, she attended and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 1999, with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, specializing in Biology. Her studies then led her to complete her Doctor of Optometry in 2008 from Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry.

Professionally, Dr. Roshie is a member of the North East Texas Optometric Society. While she will guide you through your next pair of prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses, she is also Glaucoma Certified. Her wide range of experience in eye health and eye disorders will ensure your next eye exam is thorough and complete.  

Having lived so long in North Texas, Dr. Moshtaghfard is an active member of the Dallas community, particularly as a member of the Dallas Baha'i Community. With DFW at our disposal, she actively travels on her free time, visiting friends and family all over the world. She also enjoys going to concerts with her friends.

Dr. Neiman attended the University of the Incarnate Word and was accepted into Rosenberg School of Optometry after just 3 years of undergraduate studies. Graduating in 2018, he completed rotations at the Jacksonville VA hospital with an emphasis in ocular disease and at KDW with an emphasis in primary care as well as pre and post-operative surgical care.

Dr. Neiman enjoys seeing family practice patients, ranging from 1st time glasses for children to multifocal lenses in adults. He often treats patients with dry eyes as well as managing glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.

He grew up in the Dallas area and was eager to return home after graduation. He currently lives in Dallas with his fiancé Karla, whom he enjoys working out and cooking with. On weekends, he tries to spend time with his parents and three sisters who also live in the DFW area. Snowboarding is his favorite hobby and often spends time in the mountains every winter. He is also a big fan of the beach and enjoys spending time relaxing by the pool. He is an avid football fan and tries to catch all sports games on TV if he cannot be in attendance.
